2000 f150 rear axle swap.

Hello, new to forum. I am wanting to do an axle swap on my truck. The tag on rear end says S919F. It is a 3.55 LS, 9.75. What im wanting to know is, does it have to be a S919F, or will other 3.55-9.75 rear end work. If so which ones.I have searched the forum, and other sources for several days and can't find a clear answer. By the way it's 4x4 and has disk brakes. Just got the truck, rear end was shot, but I knew that. This is going to be my best option, time and money wise. Thanks in advance.

The S919F does identify the axle size. Evidently there were two sizes available. I found this out when I replaced an axle and bearing. But, as long as the replacement has 5 lug axles it will work fine and is a 9.75 of course (as far as I know).

And if the axle shafts are the same length and diameter.
