My truck made 2 new noises, one seemed to go away after about a mile (sounded like rusty U-joint in drive shaft, also vibrated as such), then went away after restarting the truck. Then in the afternoon, in park at idle, it had a synchronized vibration/humming noise, that came and went as though the truck was loping, yet the engine was steady (minus the normal shake)... anyone else had this happen? The vibration was only on the driver side and could be felt in the floor boards...

 

I assume by your username you have a 2007 XLT 4wd? Which engine? Which cab style and bed length?

We need details such as these to help you.

 

It's the 5.4L sohc gas only engine, and it's a crew cab, 5ft bed
