P2106 code please help
I have a 2004 f 150 XLT 4.6 v8 and I just threw a p2106 throttle actuator forced limited power code it has the code twice on the scanner. I have been having idling problems with it surges and sometimes will shake and stall while I'm in park or idle. For the longest it would never throw a code finally after months of doing this it finally through the p2106 code. I had my throttle body cleaned for months ago, please help!!��

 

I don't see how you could get that code on a 2000, it has a cable-operated throttle, not an electronic throttle. I'd clean or replace the IAC.

 

It was a typo, I have a 2004. I was going to go with replacing the IAC before the code came up. Just was waiting on it to finally throw a code.

 

Because of the electronic throttle, there is no IAC on a 2004. You may need a new throttle body.
