Looking to buy a toy vehicle. don't want full size, would like a ranger, but would rather a V8, and dont want the swap. so explorer seems like a good fit. I know absolutely nothing about the explorer. I am well versed with the f-150's 5.0, so I'm going for an explorer with that v8. the 8.8 is decently strong after eliminating the c-clips; so probably keep that. IFS will go away, I have a heavy duty high pinion dana 44 driver's side, in my garage, so plan on using that. (assuming from the pics the bw 1354's front output is driver side.) what about the BW 1354? looks like the front output is fixed which is good. worth a damn? weakness? don't even bother with it and swap in something stronger? will be used for medium duty trails, 35/37" tires.
