Question WHICH GEARS...?

Hey Guys ,
I went and acted like I was going to buy this 2001 F150 Cause I wanted to see what the RPM's were at at 65 mph with OD on and off. 1700 RMP with OD on 2500 OD off.
Thats on a brand new 2001 5.4 3.55 extended cab flareside. Now my truck 33 bf mud terr, I had the same test same run and I was exactly 150 RPM's less then the stock truck.I had just the chip K&N filter replacement and flowmaster dual single in dual out.
Then I put the K&N F.I.P.K install with the poweraid TB spacer and the Truck is now 200 RPM"s aboce stock which is 1900 RPM OD on and 2700 RPM OD off, smae set up 5.4 and 3.55 gears now since I have gained RPM"s do I still need Gears and which size..4.10's.?
Also when I install headers eventually will my RPM"s rise..1998 F-150

You can jack with the engine till you're blue-oval in the face and it won't correct the gearing of the truck. The new ratio R&P depends on what size tires came on the truck from the factory.

With 255/70R16s from the factory, 4.10s over-compensated (a little) for the 285/75R16s installed on the Expedition. Speedo is now too close to claim any error.
