Hey guys! I'm new to the whole forum idea, so thanks in advance for any advice. I have two f150's (a 79 2wd lwb with a poked 400 to 411 and a c6 and a 95 ext. cab Eddie Bauer 4x4 302 with electronic tcase). My idea is to not only do a 4x4 conversion, but a mpfi/serpentine conversion as well. The 302 has a busted block, but the rest of the truck is beautiful. I plan on swapping the Eddie's whole suspension front and rear on the '79 along with trans, shafts, harnesses, computer, fuel system and accessories. My friend owns a tranny shop and said I'd have to get a custom flexplate, but that's it. I just have to find one lol. The only other parts issues are the throttle body, injectors, and dizzy. I should be able to fab an adapter to use the stock 2bbl ported intake and drill injection holes, but I'm not sure yet. A 95-96 460 dizzy will drop right in and solve my spark woes. Just a LOT of time and fab headaches. Once I get started I'll post pics step by step. Any input or suggestions are greatly appreciated. I look forward to being part of the site!
