Question LS Front??

How can I tell if my front diff is a LS? Is there such a thing? I have a 3.55 LS rear. Thanks...

Sorry, I was in that la-la land too at one time - no LS up front. You could pull up tons of posts (assuming the search function still works) on this. Screwdriver had a post about installing a Powertrax locker (a true locker not a limited slip) up front, as that seems to be the only one every agrees might work up front in the center-disconnect system. Also, I believe Detroit Truetrac (the Detroit sister of the Torsen-Gleason) suggested that their product would work in the front with minimal effect on handling. That would mean the Torsen-Gleason would also work, assuming they make one for our application. As far as any type of clutch-ls up front, forget it.
