Rear end size question?

I though i had posted this question before but i don't see it in any of the forums so here goes. Are the F-150's the only Ford trucks with an 8.8" diff? Or do the F-250's and F-350's have the same size? I bought new gears to go into my rearend but as an afterthought i am thinking if upgrading to a heavier duty axle. That would mean i wasted my money on the 8.8" gears unless i can get a 3/4 ton axle with 8.8" gears.

Ford4ever,

Only the F150's with the 4.6 V8 or the 4.2 V6 have the 8.8" rear end. If you get the 5.4 V8, you get the 9.75" rear end, and all the super duties come with the 10.25" Sterling rear end.

So looks like you are out of luck.
