I have a 1994 f150 with a straight six (4.9L) with a check engine light on. I was able to pull the codes and it came up with Solenoid/circuit failure - shift solenoid 2 - Transmissions, EGR did not open/respond during test or if memory code, did not open intermittantly - EVR or PFE, and Knock sensor not tested (ignore if not pinging) - KS. I''m not entirely sure how to fix any of it or what exactly a knock sensor is. In additon to the engine light, when driving my truck it feels like it isn't getting good enough ignition/fire or the engine isn't getting enough gas. I replaced the fuel filter and the spark plugs, but there has been no change.
Any thoughts, suggestions or insight would be great.
