Gear Change

I am thinking about changing gears from 3.08 to 3.55 or 3.73's. I've got a 99, so the speedo is all electronic and cannot be changed by a simple gear change. Does anyone know how much the speedo can be changed by having the computer reprogrammed. I realize that the superchip can be programmed to compensate for gear and tire changes, but I am also thinking about the supercharger, so the superchip would come out.

Any help is appreciated.

?

Why would the superchip come out if you got a supercharger. Just program the chip to get more gains out of your charger as well. To get my speedo corrected for my tires the dealer said he would charge around $200, I said never mind and he said he could cut me a deal for $150. I still left.

Guys,
At least you can recalibrate your speedometer. On the 2001 models, I have not yet found anyone who can recalibrate for 4.10 gears, although a couple of aftermarket guys say they are close - I'll believe it when I see it.
