I have 4x4 electronic switch on dash. I switched to 4x4 in the morning to get out of snow and it did not switch to 4x4. Later in the morning i tried again and it switched into 4x4 low. Now it is styck in 4x4 low. Lights on dash "4x4" and " low" are on. I tried heating underside of truck with salamander in case something frozen below but no change. Can some suggest troubleshooting steps from simplest to more complicated?

 

No expert here but try disconnecting the battery. Maybe it will default back to 2wd.
