My truck has a 3.55 open diff and I want to convert it to limited slip. Anyone know of any good rear end shops in Southern California that does this type of work?

It's a 99 4X4, 4.2, 5 speed.

If you want to keep from having warranty hassles, you may want to get your Ford dealer to do it. (Even though they'll cost more...)

Try 4wheel wholesellers. They will charge about 200.00 per axle and they do great work. There are a couple of them, one in Burbank and another one in orange county. Hope this helps.
