Inlet/Outlet?

Just bought a motorcraft fuel filter for my 01 f150. How do I tell which end is the inlet and which is outlet? The MC logo and part # are labeled on the side, and that's the only reference point I can tell.

No arrow on it? If you see an arrow, that's flow direction. If not, notice that the filter case has a flange on one end, just match that up.

Yep, I'm an idiot. The arrow was there, but it was blocked off so it just looked like a line. Thanks.
