Just replaced my E4OD tranny about 2 weeks ago and was still having some issues but then started hearing a BIG clank sound when i switched from reverse to drive and when I accelerated the whole truck kept vibrating really bad. Was driving home yesterday when the drive shaft joint near the transfer case snapped. I'm really glad I was going slow because when the drive shaft caught on the pavement it popped the whole rear end up. My family and I are ok thank god. I never had a problem with the transer case before the mechanic put the tranny in and was wondering if the replaced tranny is to blame or the mechanic who put it in. Any ideas?
