Ok folks need some help. After my battery died I had to replace the PCM in my Expd. I now seem to have an intermittent PATS problem. About 50 percent of teh time when I try to start the truck it runs fine, the other 50 it turns over and will not start. When it doesn't start it goes through the start up sequence, and then the theft light begins flashing. This happens with either key. I can usually fiddle around removing and replacing the keya and eventually the theft light goes out and it will start. Took it back to Ford, of course it didn't do it, but the replaced a relay, and uploaded newest computer patches. I know aftermarket progrmming can turn off PATS, can teh Ford software do this as well? I would like to have PATS, but don't really want to end up replacing all the components until something works,or runn the risk of getting stuck somewhere when it fails completely.
