Truck vibrates when braking. Not the brakes

Hi all,

My truck is vibrating/pulsing when I hit the brakes. First assumption is, yes its the brakes but I've replaced the front/rear rotors and brake pads and it still vibrates. I took it to a local mechanic shop and they looked at it also. They said its something in the drivetrain. They werent sure and didnt have the technical know how to figure it out. They told me to go to a drive train specialist.

Any ideas? If you have any questions please let me know and I'll answer them about the problem.

Its for a 2001 ford f150 xtended cab 4x4 5.4L

Thanks for the help all.
