Gear ratio help.

Hey guys, I'm getting close to making the plunge on my regear. But looking for a bit of advice. I'm running a set of 37x13.50x18 mud grapplers on my stock 3.73 gears, I know most say for 37's go to the 4.88's but does anyone have experience with the 37's and 4.56's? During hunting season I'm running alot of hwy miles, so I'm worried about the 4.88's being too steep and hurting me on the hwy, but not 100% sure the 4.56's will do much better. Any advice is appreciated. Also, what brand gears should I be looking for? I've mainly just seen the yukon's and found where I can get the front/rear gears with both master install kits for $800. Is that a decent price for the yukon's?

Talk to a few driveline shops in your area to see what they recommend....4.88's is what I'd go with for 37" tires....

May have to give 4wheelparts or maybe some of the online ring and pinion guys. Not really anyone around here that deals with bigger tires on newer 4wds. So none of them around here have been much help

i would go with 4.88's. its only 200rpm difference between the two.

throw a locker in there if you really get in the soft stuff.

i went with yukon gears. give wayne at diffsonly.com a call. he had the cheapest prices when i bought my gears.

What would go guys recommend for a rear diff traction aid? Mainly something that would also be street friendly and not break the bank.
