If you want an actuak LSD dif, no.

You will have to change out the carrier to one that has the Trac-lok or a locker type. That will require you to have to do a set up on the diff. However you can keep the same gear ratio.

If this truck is just to beat up, you can weld the spider gears. But that is a bad idea.

X2 Because a welded rear end will not want to spin the outside tire a little faster when going around corners, and that tire needs to go a little faster to keep your truck on the road

Put some weight in the bed and some wider tires on it.

A little trick to try - assuming you have an automatic tranny so your left foot is free, if one wheel starts to spin, hold the parking brake release out and partially apply the parking brake. That might get some torque to the other wheel.

Po man's posi, works good too.

Throw about 4-5gallon buckets in the bed. When you get ready to pull the boat out just scoop them full of lake water and put them in the back of the bed. Once the boat is on dry land just return the water to the lake. Should give you about 250 to 300 more pounds.
