Diff. regear

I am thinking about rebuilding my differential in my 1997 f150 4.6. its a 4x4. right now its still the factory gearing. and when i get to 40 i got to take my foot off the gas so she can shift. that's the only trans problem i have.

Any suggestions??

Do the gears have to be pressed in too?? I'm a DIY

Thanks!

what size tires are you planning on running?
what type of driving?
do you tow at all?

i was asking what size do you want to get once you lift it.

well i can already tell you there are three choices.
4.10's for highway mileage
4.56's for a good medium
4.88's for low end torque with little highway.

im running the 4.88's and im only turning 2K rpms at 60mph.
