CV Axle ??

I have a 2001 4x4, I have cranked the torsion bars a little, and i noticed today that the inner CV axle boot was torn from the clamp and some grease had come out, my question is do I replace both the boots or do I just by a new CV axle? and if I do are the remanufactured ones okay because I am on a budget and they arent to expensive, and the truck has 180,000 miles on it, thanks for any info

With that many miles on it i would just go ahead and replace the axle. The reman
axle should be okay.

If it isn't making any noise, I'd just replace the boots and add grease. Of course you need to make sure any dirt that may have gotten in the joint is cleaned out beforehand.
