Post solid axle?

I have a 1994 F150 4X4. I am wondering if it is posible to convert to a solid front axle, or if I am better off sticking with the IFS. I will be looking to do many upgrades to this truck as time and money allow(not much work done during an Alaskan winter). I appreciate the help, and am envious of all these new rigs you guys are posting about.

Cool

WHAT IS THE REASON FOR WANTING TO PUT IN A SOLID AXLE? YOU HAVE A BETTER RIDE IN THE IFS. IF WANTING TO GO OFF ROAD WHAT TYPE ARE YOU PLANNING TO DO? DO YOU MAINLY WANT TO PLAY IN THE MUD OR CLIMB ROCKS AND OTHER ROUGH TERRAIN? IT WILL ALL DEPEND ON THESE. I AM SURE ANYTHING IS POSS. IF YOU ARE NOT A VERY SERIOUS OFF ROAD PERSON THIS CHANGE COULD MAKE YOUR RIDE UNCOMFORTABLE.
