The local shop that I would have install them on my truck quoted me$1400 for both front and rear. He said he would be getting G2 gears. Their policy is if the customer brings in the parts their labor would go to time and a half. I asked him about those gears compared to Yukon and he said they are equivalent if not a little better, and they have installed many many of them. They have a 10 yr warranty and they haven't had any problems with them.

What are your guys thoughts on G2??

If they are gonna give you a 10 year warranty and you plan on living there as long as you have your truck, go for it.

That's what I was thinking. We just moved into our new house a few years ago with the intention of not moving again.

The owner said that he hasn't had any problems with any if their installs. And he has done numerous swaps on f150s. He said if u wanted Yukons it would be another $300 bringing the total from$1400 to $1700.

I've seen extreme 4x4 use c2 gears on their rock crawlers and have tried reading up on them, but didn't know if any of you guys have had first hand experience with them...

Just out of curiosity, has anyone ran a 1/4mile time before and after their swaps? I would be doing this mainly for towing but any performance gains is a plus.

1400 is a good price! I agree with what glc said. Would they warranty the yukons aswell?
