Question Whining Noise

I was driving on the highway today and noticed a whining noise that sounded like it was coming from the rear end of my truck. It starts at about 75 mph and goes away if I let off on the gas. As soon as I drop below 75 mph the sound goes away. Is this normal at higher speeds to hear some noise or is this an indicator that I may have a problem with my rear end?

If you have less than 7000 miles on your truck, wait for the tires to wear in.

Thanks for the response. I was ready to give up on gettin an answer but was very happy to see a reply. My truck has 32k on it now so I think the tires should be broke in. Also thought it wasn't tires because of the way the sound went away if I let off on the gas. Of course I took it to the dealer today and got an answer of "the speed limit is 65 MPH in NY". Guess I gotta move to Montana if I want a dealer to look at this.
