Gearing Question

So I recently bought a 1997 F250HD with the 460. I have no idea what kind of gearing I have. I do know on a loose gravel road I only have one rear tire spinning, and would like a limited slip rear differential.

How difficult is it to switch? What will I need to do the switch? New gears? Whole new differential?

Thanks in advance.

if you just want a LS i dont even think you have to reset anything. just take out the ring and bolt it in and put the ring back it.

Its code 35, which after a quick google search tells me its 4.10 gearing in a "regular" differential, not the limited slip (which I already knew).
