Maybe I overlooked it or in too much of a hurry with this but I just want to verify that this spare front diff I have is 331 open.

8.8 w/ 3.31 is also how I read the tag. I don't believe any non-open diffs came from the factory ( but I could be wrong).

 

Great thanks. Just wanted to verify that the junk yard I bought this from told me the wrong gear ratio. They swear they sold me 3.73! Unless someone re-geared before they totaled the truck and left the tag, I'm going to assume they're 3.31.

 

All front diffs from Ford are open diffs. Rear may be another story. And yes it is a 3.31 8.8 reverse cut front.
