Vibration above 100+ mph

It is a pickup truck not a sports car, of course it shakes at 100+ miles per hour! Driving this fast put's a lot of stress on the vehicle, if your tires are not properly inflated or if your tires are slightly out of balance, even if there is just some mud on the rims these things all cause huge vibrations at high rpm's. If you want to go that fast don't expect it to ride like a Ferrari. Ever do 120 in a lifted truck with super swampers? Those are some big vibrations.

Maybe I should make some things a little more clear. The area I live is rural and the roads are great for short high speed bursts.
The truck is a 2000 HD and has no wheel or tire problems. The truck is well designed and modified for short bursts up to max velocity of about 135 mph.
Ford itself will not shut it off until about 112 mph. The vibration is driveline, and I will not slow down for you or anyone else, thank you very much....just stay out of my way.

I'm not saying slow down, i occasionally drive that fast (some NY state troopers can vouch for that). But at that speed in a truck driveline vibrations are to be expected. Do you have an aluminum or steel driveshaft? If you have steel you might upgrade to an aluminum or carbon fiber driveshaft. Since they weigh about half as much there is less rotating mass which will cause less vibration and give you more horsepower at the rear wheels.

Dyno Time!
It's the only way to isolate the culprit. Tires/wheels are biggest chance of out of balance. Drive train won't wait for 100 mph before it starts to shake, if thats the problem.
Dyno can eliminate front end and provide a safe visual on drive line so you can identify the bad guy.
Tires are very dynamic at speed, mosture inside can make a big difference on balance.
