Question Loc rites and others?

I am having a problem with tire spin at take off, any wet or new pavement she lights the one wheel wonder up. I have 3:55's in a 2000 f150 sc off road 4x4. Anyone have suggestions on locking diffs that don't make the ratcheting sound?
Thanks, Benny

If you have an 8.8 there are many options. I just bought a traction lock gear case(original application 96 F-150) for my brothers' Mustang. I think that case will also work fine in the 97 and up 8.8. The cost at wholesale was only $200. There is a very good article on doing this swap on the corral.net web site. You'll find the article in the project cars section. There is also a section in that article that shows how to restack the clutches/frictions to give more clutch bias (locking action).

Good Luck
