Powertrax No Slip

I am about to pull the trigger on a Powertrax no slip for truck, but I was wondering if anyone with a 9.75 has one installed and what they think about it.

I had one in a Dodge. It worked very well, they do suffer from the same problems all lockers do, clicking when they ratchet, and the occasional bang when turning under power.

I'd buy another.

For some reason powertrax doesn't list the 9.75 on their website, but I e-mailed them and they do offer it. So I guess I am going to order it through summit racing.

Aussie unfortunately doesn't and doesn't have any plans too, at least for the 9.75.

I plan on going with the Detroit TruTrac. Let us know how yours works once you get it in.

My no-slip arrived today, so hopefully this weekend I will have it installed and give it a test ride.

Unfortunately I did not get it installed. Bad weather delayed it, I probably won't get it installed until this next weekend now, but if I can squeeze it in during the week I will. I have to do it outside and I work pretty long hours so it's tough to find time.

Well I got it pretty well wrapped up, still need to fill her up with oil. The actual install is very easy, but having to remove the rotor to pull out the axle shaft sucks. Will give it a ride tomorrow to see how I like it.

Finished it up and gave it a quick drive. You can hear it bang when you turn, but do far I like it a lot.

Cool, don't know where you live but snow and rain are tons of FUN!

You will get to know when it is going to BANG and lift off the gas before it happens. Welcome to the locker club.
