Clutch Question

Never had a clutch go out before so this is new to me.....clutch pedal used to have decent resitance the minute I pressed on it....with the cold here now, I'm finding the the first 2/3s of the pedal is becoming very sloppy and the engaging is done with the last 1/3 of the pedal. Bad clutch or maybe I broke a return spring?? Master cylinder is still full.

Thanks!

Bleed the clutch and expect to be replacing the slave cylinder soon.

One other possibility is the master cylinder is bi-passing. The master is far easier and cheaper to replace so if bleeding doesn't do the trick I'd opt for changing out the master first.
