squeak when accelerating on highway to pass

Sorry ahead of time if a thread like this has already been made. I get on the highway a lot and when I have to give her gas and really move it once it shifts at high rpm very noticeable sqeaking sound is what I can only describe. Think I need to grease some parts or something a little bit more costly?

Does the squeak happen when you punch it and the truck down shifts to a lower gear? Like a short chirp?

It could be your sepentine belt making the noise.....

A gatorback belt might help but not always with the noise.....but it helps more than the regular stock serpentine belt.

yea, replace the belt. spring a little extra on a good belt or you'll be replacing again in 6 months.

I get that on my truck as well. It must be fairly common on these trucks, huh?

A Gatorback belt and a thorough pulley cleaning usually fixes it.
