my truck is AWD .. if I disconnect the sensors on the front wheels will the computer sense a fault or should I disconnect the front drive shaft instead before going on the dyno?

Can you not turn the awd off? I know when my truck was on the dyno my ABS was on and my truck would shut down at 40 MPH. The rear speed sensor was bad and it was reading the front wheels wasnt spinning so it was shutting it down. I would say remove the front drive shaft.

Your best bet would to call troyer or jdm and ask them. They deal with a lot of trucks and I'm sure they dealt with their fare share of awd Harley trucks.
