transmission fluid change

i changed the fluid in my trans and tourque converter. I did a pan drop and changed the filter, and as i was tighting the bolts on the pan i striped the bolt hole aluminum threads out, luckily i was at a shop with my friend and was right near a auto parts store so i ran in there and baught a helicoil kit and installed it work like a charm it fixed it and so far nothing is leakin and it shifts alot better it was the first time its ever been changed at 130000 miles.

you have to be careful while tightening these bolts. they only take between 10-15 lb/ft to tighten up. that can be very EASILY acheived with just one hand without thinking about it. tightening them with an lb/in torque wrench is highly recommended.
