Relacement of CV Half-Shaft.
I am going to replace the left front CV Half-Shaft on my 2005 F150 STX pickup. Does anybody know where I can find the Tech. Article on how to remove and install this Half-Shaft?

it's fairly straight forward. search for something about hubs and you'll find out how to get that part off and then its a 12mm 12 sided socket or wrench (your preference) to remove the shaft from the diff.
pull the half shaft out, reverse the previous steps and enjoy any beverage of choice.

It is pretty simple just need the tools.
-Take tires off
-Take off the brake caliper bolts from the steering knuckle ( 18mm ) - Hang the calipers by some kind of wire or string as you don't want them hanging freely on the brake lines.
- Take rotors off.
- Remove ABS sensor from steering knuckle. ( Hex bolt )
- Remove axle spindle cap by using a grease cap puller
- Loosen axle spindle nut ( 13mm I think )
- Remove the 4 bolts that hold the Hub assembly on there. It may be easier to turn the wheel. To get too ( 18mm )
- Remove the hoses going to Hub Actuators
- Remove tie rods
- Knock UCA lose.
Now don't remember correctly if you could pull out the half shaft from here but if not than all you gotta do is just loosen the LCA but don't take off. Reason being is bc when you knock it loose you don't want it to fall on you unless you got an extra set of hands that can hold it.
Then you have full access to the Half shafts. I forgot what tool kit I used for the half shaft bolts but it was something like star idk. Anyways I don't think I'm missing anything as I've done this prob 5 times in the past 2 months haha. PM me if you need help and ill be glad to give you my number and walk you through the install. I wanted to do a complete write up on this but was in a rush last time
