Wheel bearings

I have an 03 supercede 4wd and I've gone through 4 wheel front bearing assemblys in 2 years. I keep burning them up, have 35s and it's not like I'm offroading alot. Any suggestions or HD parts I could use?

Well last time my mechanic couldnt get the "good ones" what brand they are I have no clue, so he got the "cheap ones." But before that I bought the good ones and the ring where the studs attach, and its wleded on to the assembly all cracked was nuts...

so timken bearings are the best to get?

i almost hate to say if for such an important part but, the last hub i bought from auto zone had timken bearings and is really a sturdy piece. i've had it on there for over a year and everything is going good. might be worth a try if you need a hub right now.

check out rockauto.com if you can wait to ship. they have great prices. i know autozone likes to overprice their stuff. rockauto is usually pretty quick with their shipping turn arounds though.

i agree, ive never had a cheapo bearing last longer than a year. youll pay almost double for a timken but you get what you pay for when it comes to bearings. also, the napa i get mine from warranty them for life.

OEM does not choose Koyo, bearings for example for a reason.
