Shiny new diff cover

I had to wait till after Xmas to get this, but glad I did.

Nice cover. Like the fact that it acts as a girdle to hold the bearing caps in place.

Also, wow, I'm glad I don't live where there's all the salt on the roads... thats a ton of surface rusting everywhere lol...

I just cleaned the pipes to get all the dirt/grease and sticker glue off of them when I got them. I just used High Heat BBQ paint..4 coats..I'll have to do some touch-ups this spring.

I got it from a local performance shop. I could have got it from www.summitracing.com..but with converting to Cdn$, then shipping, taxes and then the usual UPS screw-job it was about the same to get it local and if I have a prob I just take it back to the shop I got it from. About $280.

I would be very surprised if a 4.2 had anything but a 8.8......

Yeah its the 8.8 rear end, with a Tru-Trac under the cover with 3.73 gears.

i have a 9.75 under my supercrew if i were to get the TA diff cover is there a gasket involved with this? I need to change my gear oil bad actually
