Lockers?
Lockers?
Im not quite sure how they work so im having trouble choosing. Im comparing an eaton posi to a detroit locker and an arb air locker. I want the rear to lock 100% for best traction but i dont no if posi do that.
Detroit locker is kind of the best of both worlds because it fully locks, but it is automatic and works okay on pavement. Something like the ARB is either fully locked or open, and personally I hate driving in 2wd anywhere with an open diff.
The detroit will help traction on the street and anywhere else, with will lock when you are on the gas and still allow you to turn sharp while coasting or with light throttle.

Yea but you failed to mention that it sounds like your draging a bag of bolts or chains, Detroit Lockers work great but for a daily driver you may not like the noise. The selectable lockers ARB or ECTED, when you need it BAM! it's there!

detroit lockers. very dependable and do there job. not too horribly expensive either. you didnt mention if you had 4wheeldrive or not.. if ya do, put lockers in BOTH differentials. the front diff slips worse than the rear one. its annoying as *******.
Again, NOT on a f'n daily driver if you EVER, I do mean this, EVER plan on using it on snowy or slick roads. You will fight the truck every foot of the drive, I did a "locker" up front and I NEED to get off my butt and throw it out...
