4 Low engaged on it's on

I have a 07 F150 4x4. This week I had just pulled out of the driveway and reached about 20 mph when 4 Low engaged on its on. It felt like I had hit something, or a big pothole. After surveying the situation and realizing I had not hit anything, I noticed my truck was in 4 Low and the switch was turned to 4 Low as well. Now the obvious question to myself was "how did I knock it into 4 Low accidentally"? But I don't thick you can do that on the fly.

I took my truck to the dealer this morning and they ran a bunch of test, and found nothing wrong. I am scared of this happening at high speed and leaving parts of my truck all over the road. But even worse, I will probably wind up in a major crash judging by the jolt I got at low speeds.

Any suggestions on what happened and what I can do to get it fixed?

if your worried about it, switch the position of the 4wd switch and the outlet on the other side of the dash.

Not saying that it was imposible, but with both hand at 10 and 2 on the steering wheel and my passenger staring staight ahead with his hands to himself, it was unlikely that the switch was turned by hand while in motion. Maybe I need to check my interior for flying objects. lol.

Thanks for the advice though. I will be more cautious.
