transmission

can spinning the tires in the snow/mud/sand hurt the transmission

yea i figured, how badly do you think it hurts them. not that i spin the tires or anything

I'm no mechanic, but it's shouldn't hurt anything,especially if you ahve the 4r100. That trans is pretty tough! Your not gonna hurt that trans by spinning your tires. If you have 4wd on the fly and you switch it while spinning the tires, that will hurt your trans/t-case.

ok thanks i have the 4r70w trans but i dont think it hurts it to bad as long as your not spinning the tires like 100 mph
