I drive a 2005 Fx4 and noticed one time, while stuck in the mud, that my 4wd was not working. So, I jacked the truck up to see what was wrong and it engages into both 4 hi and 4 lo but it doesnt turn my wheels.
The right axle up front spins but it doesnt turn my wheel.
I spun the left tire and the right axle slowed down like it should.
The 4x4 dash lights turn on and everything.
Any ideas?
Maybe something inside the axle or hub? Maybe somethings stripped?

 

Your right side IWE is not engaging.
