tell me somethin

how does transfer case fluid get burnt up if you never use 4wd? and if it is burnt up and you change the fluid will you be able to tell, and how does new fluid work better than burnt up..like what does the fluid lubricate?

the t-case still spins even in 2wd. thats why if you put the 2 case in N you cant move the truck at all.

Old fluid vs New fluid is just the same as old motor oil vs new motor oil

ahh ok got it!

soo..does the front driveshaft/wheels spin better with new fluid?

not really the front d-shaft but the WHOLE system. The 4406 is a chain driven t-case so you need to keep it lubed. I dont think it will be as bad as say a NP205 without fluid or new fluid. Since they are gear driven cases that would be equal to running no fluid in your axle same principal.

Not sure what the specs are on changing the FLUID of the t-case. Ive had mine changed multiple times after offroading.
