2004 center axle disconnect

Can anyone tell me if the 2004s have a vacuum operated central axle disconnect? My 4wd doesn't work and I can't figure out why??

No, they do not. They have IWE's (integrated wheel ends - hubs). If you do not have 4wd, most likely problem on the 04 ups, with ESOF, is the transfer case motor.
