locker help
I really am clueless when it comes to stuff like this but i have a buddy that told me my truck would be a lot better in the mud with a locker. the only problem is he said he didnt know if they make 1 for a 2wd. which is what i have. does anyone know if they are really worth the money and if so are they made for a 2008 f150 xl 2wd?
Yes the truck would get better traction. But the gains would be marginal. your truck has limitations. AND in my opinion a quality limited slip will work just fine. what rear diff do you have. what size motor?
up to you... not sure what they offer for the 8.8. Auburn lockers are normally good units.
go onto 4wheelparts.com and enter your trucks info and see what comes up under lockers

The Ford Traction Lok will be the least expensive and they work fine for normal use. Look on ebay. Just be aware of the difference in axle splines. A Mustang traction lok unit may not fit.
