transfer case swap

im replaceing the transfer case on my 04 f150 lariat, i was wondering if i had to drop the transmition to get it off? any ideas will help thnx

nope you can drop it by its self, i recommend a second set of hands to make sure it comes down smoothly. maybe even use a transmission jack to bring it out
