yea take the nuts off then you have to pound the crap out of the splitter to get the tie rod separated from the spindle, then to get them back in just get a 2x4 and line everything up and pound the crap out of it. there about 25 bucks a piece

lmao yea ive seen the commercials!!! but havent heard anything good about the duralasts!!!!

i would go with moog, good, greasable, decent priced,

i went on orilleys and checked and theirs are $21 but idk what brand it was i think it was parts best or some garbage like that, motorcraft is going to be high i presume, i would go with moog myself, if i have this truck long enough to where the ball joints go out/tie rods i will go with moog

there should only be 2 to replace? both outer tie rods, passenger and driver side, might just start with the passenger side, or if their that cheap and you have the time go ahead and do both

both on passenger side are out. so while i have the truck up i am going to check the driver side. i will do the passenger side first and see how long it takes and determine if i will do the driver side. lol

OH ok!, man without looking up under mine im not sure what the inner rod looks like, so i wouldnt be able to help you out with that one lol, and i cant find any pictures on the internet of course if i remember correctly it should be the same, cotter pin, nut, then take the splitter, then pound the new one in, but im not for sure if you can get a good swing, maybe time for the ole C clamp!!!!

For quality aftermarket greasable joints, try Napa or Carquest.
