4.56 or 4.88 help!

4.56 or 4.88 help!

I finaly have money to do my gears in my 04 f150 5.4 4x4 I im curantly running 35's but i im thinking of adding 2 mor inches of lift and going up to
37's. i dnt know what gears to go with I dnt put the miles on the truck like i used to now that it hit 80,000 i have only put a 1,000 miles on it in 2 months can any body tell me what kined of rpms i will be runing at 60-65-70 mph with the 35's and 4.88 thank you

well for me to keep up w traffic thats actually doing respectably close to 70 is 2500-2600 with 4.88 and 35s.
imo too much gear for the tires.

I was running that combo for a while and loved it.

I thought I was around 2500 rpm at 75 or so.

I've got a pic somewhere that I'll search for.

im running 37's with 4:56s and love it. imho i think its the perfect combo! not really sure what rpms im at around 70 or so but i'll check and get back with you

If you're looking at 37's go with 4.88's.

anything over 35 i would go with 4.88

i got brand new 4.88 and master rebuild for $400
