Question Clicking when breaking?????????? Help.

Ok I haven't had a chance to try to figure out what the problems is yet but I figured I'd ask you guy's in case anyone has ran across this before.

When I'm coming to a stop and I have the windows down I can hear a clicking sound towards the front of the truck.

It sounds like it clicks at each revolution of the tire. It only does it with the brakes on?

CV joints???

That's my first guess but it doesn't do it when I'm turning, just when I'm braking.

Ideas?

wheel spacers.

pull the tires off and make sure they are tight, as you know mine came loose 4 or 5 times from the vibration of the mud tires. i ended up putting blue loctite on them.

id start there and see what you get, hows your brake pads? if they wear out enough they will tap.

I had not thought about that.

Mine does.

I have it on jacks right now in the garage, I'm going to check all the lug nuts real good before I drive it again.

this may be stating the obvious but did you look for a nail or screw in the tier? it may tick all the time but you can hear it over the road noise.

Yes, I checked for nails and rocks in the tires. I checked for sticks or anything like that also. Nothing is in the way..?? Now what?
