with 40's and 5.38's the 4.2L can roast them.

4.56's and 33's you will have some low end torque

With 4.88's and 33 inch tires, you will be running 2800 rpm in 5th at 70 mph. With 3.55's it's 2000 rpm and 4.56's it's 2600.

You DO know that the 5 speed manual is limited to towing 3500# because of a weak input shaft?

definitely stick with the 4.56's unless you are running 35" of bigger tires
