4Hi Test - RH wheel not spinning?

The other day I had the truck up on a lift, put the truck in 4Hi and put it in drive... didn't hit the gas, but wanted to make sure all the wheels were spinning freely after a brake job.

During the test I noticed the right front was not spinning at all (all others were spinning freely). Put it back in neutral, took it out of 4Hi and shut off the truck... and tried to spin the wheel by hand and it spun fine (so no binding on the brake pads).

I was wondering if this was normal? I was under the impression that in 4Hi, all four tires would spin. I have a LS diff, but I don't know if this would affect this behavior or not.

The reason I ask is because while in 4Hi the other day, I notice a grinding noise while making right turns only; about 1/2 turn of steering wheel, and the truck significantly slows down like it's binding on something. I wonder if I what I'm experiencing are symptoms of the IWE issues that people have been experiencing.

the front diff is an OPEN diff. so the power went to the easier route.

the limited slip is only in the rear, unless you added an aftermarket one.

I can tell you for sure that when my truck would get burried to the frame i could spin the tires easily cause theres no weight on them, only one of the front would spin no matter what.

so really our trucks in 4wd are really 3wd, if you dont have the Limited Slip rear end then you are only a 2wd

Do it again, and this time grab the LF wheel and stop it - the RF will start spinning.
