Differential cover hardware

I`m getting ready to change my differential cover 8.8 ( TA Perforamance Alum.) & I`m going to use stainless steel socket head bolts instead of the steel ones that came with it.
Using SS ok to use or should I use the regular steel ones????

I did the same when I put a TA Performance cover on my 9.75 rear last summer. It has gone through a Michigan winter with salt, etc. No problems. I know that there is the possibility of corrosion with dissimilar metals, but when I discussed the idea with a friend who has owned and run a machine shop for over 30 years, he just chuckled when I discussed the possibility. Just take it to a coin car wash and hit it with the spray maybe once a week during the winter if you live in the snow belt. It isn't a bad idea anyhow because rust is more of a problem with the steel undersides of the truck. Besides, if you ever see pitting around the bolts (doubtful), just put the powder coated bolts back in. Personally, I think this is largely a non-issue
