the setup is an 05 V6 5sp w/ oem 20s wrapped w/ terra 305/55/20 a/t. just got Superior 4.10 and Detroit Trutrac LS earlier today. i like the change in acceleration. it's true what people claim after changing gears.

anyway, paranoia has finally set in after reading countless posts about "whining noise" after gear installation. however, i noticed something different on the way home from the local 4WP shop. there is no whining noise present YET in the 30-45 range, but there is a chomping sound when im not pressing on the gas (practically when i'm slowing down). it goes away as soon as i put my foot on the gas again though. it's most noticeable in the low 30mph and gradually/relatively goes away below 20mph.
